Ensemble Alastair Postlethwaite is best known to viewers from his appearances in the popular Saturday night BBC TV series So You Think You Can Dance in which he reached the semi finals gaining a big following along the way.
Alastair appeared in the film of Beyond The Sea, the life story of Bobby Darin directed by and starring Kevin Spacey.
He was the first ever apprentice in Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake in 1999 and also appeared in Tosca and Don Giovani at The Royal Opera House and Rufus Norris's Cabaret starring Wayne Sleep on a lengthy U.K tour.
Alastair has also been guest artist in numerous productions with Tetsuya Kumakawa's K-Ballet in Tokyo, Scottish Ballet, New English Contemporary Ballet and the Curve Foundation.
